SOUTHPORT WOODEN BOAT SHOW
This family-friendly Southport tradition is back for its 12th year. Enjoy maritime demonstrations, tour and talk with wooden boat makers and vote for your favorite boat. Children's activities provided by the NC Maritime Museum of Southport Naut-Kids program. Exhibits presented by the North Carolina Aquarium and The Ft Fisher Underwater Archeology Branch.

ARTISAN'S HOLIDAY BOUTIQUE
Get a jump start on holiday shopping, without the worry of shipping delays. Shop fine arts and crafts including textiles, flower arrangements, jewelry, painting, ceramics and more, presented by over 60 artisans. Admission is free.

THE GREAT PUMPKIN BLOWOUT
BYOP (bring your own pumpkin) for an explosive afternoon. Blow up your pumpkins with the same technology used to detonate Civil War-era torpedos. Free to watch, $10 to detonate. All proceed go towards funding educational programming at Brunswick Town/Fort Anderson Historic Site.

COMMUNITY FARM TOUR
Enjoy a day with family and friends on a working farm. Come learn about the farm animals of HOOF (Helpers of Our Farm) and sustainable homestead farm life at Greenlands Farm. HOOF has a variety of animals to meet (baby cow, baby goats, pony, llama, chickens, ducks, turkey, pigs), all ready to teach you about animal science and animal welfare. Bring a picnic and blanket to enjoy lunch in the wooded picnic area.

ENDLESS SUMMER BONFIRE BASH
Celebrate the businesses that help make our community so special with a casual eventing of fun, food and beach bonfire. Brought to you by Southport-Oak Island Area Chamber of Commerce, this family-friendly event is open to member and non-members alike. Contact the Chamber for tickets.

BALD HEAD ISLAND TURTLE TROT
What better way to work off Thanksgiving (over)indulgences than a 5k on beautiful Bald Head Island. Bring the family as you make your way through the island's ancient maritime forest - as fast or as slow as you please.
